Collaborate

I’m open to research collaborations in HCI, multimodal interaction, assistive communication, gaze-driven and Indic-language interfaces, silent speech, and confidence-aware intent inference. I also welcome deployment and accessibility evaluation partnerships for public systems, and collaborations with clinical and language researchers on assistive communication.

Ongoing PhD research · HAIx Lab, IIT Gandhinagar

Research with Dr. Yogesh Kumar Meena on combining gaze, speech, EMG and EEG to infer intent under real-world uncertainty.

Research approach

The work investigates confidence-aware multimodal fusion that accounts for signal quality, sensor noise, user context and task demands. It also explores EMG-based silent-speech decoding, including variability between people and electrode shifts.

Communication and control

The aim is to make assistive communication and control more reliable when individual input channels are noisy or uncertain. These are ongoing research directions rather than measured outcomes asserted here.

Live · Independently built and maintained by Ramanand

A workspace for focused, long-term work, bringing a timer, tasks, daily notes, a reading library and a long-range progress tracker onto one page.

How it works

  • Attach a task to a focus session to accumulate time without a separate log.
  • Timestamped notes keep a record of the day; completed days lock.
  • A literature library organises papers, datasets and labs, with tags, ratings and reflections.
  • A named long-range goal appears as a day grid against a target date.
